Home Testing

You may well be aware that on Thursday, the school received notification that two learners within Year 8 had tested positive for COVID. As a result, a number of learners identified as close contacts are now isolating for the requisite ten days.

We would like to wish all of these learners well and we look forward to welcoming them all back into school after the necessary period of isolation.

This does however, underline the importance of home testing in keeping our community as safe as possible. Can I please ask you to ensure that your child is completing the home tests every  Wednesday and Sunday. We will be sending home with learners on Wednesday 31st March additional self-testing kits to enable learners to do this. We would also ask that learners test on Sunday 18th April, prior to return to school on Monday 19th April.

Should they test positive, please follow the guidance on self-isolation, inform the school via email using trackandtrace@harrowhigh.com and seek a confirmatory PCR test. These can be booked via the following website.
