Relationships & Sex Education Policy

Find out more about Harrow High School's Relationships and Sex Education policy.

As of April 2021, all UK state schools have a responsibility to teach Relationships, Sex, and Health Education in school. More information, on this, is in the flyer displayed, at the bottom of this page.

In 2020 we consulted our whole school community on the Relationships & Sex Education policy, which included parents, learners, and teachers. We held focus groups to capture their views, and were then able to make changes to the policy.  It is a statutory duty for schools to update the policy every 3 years, and our leadership team has decided to make no changes to the policy at this time.

If any parents, particularly, those new to the school, would like to share their views, or if they have any questions or clarifications, please e-mail rse@harrowhigh.com by Monday 5th December 2022.

The policy is also attached at the bottom of the page.
