Broadening Horizons

Raising Aspirations
At Harrow High, we believe that education is about more than just what happens within the four walls of a classroom. Our commitment to "excellence for all" continues through our vital enrichment programme.
Following the success of our December trips—where Year 7 learners navigated the hustle and bustle of the London Underground to discover the treasures of Tate Britain—the school is once again preparing to broaden aspirations. These experiences are a cornerstone of school life, designed to build the "cultural capital" and independence that will serve our learners long after they leave us.
The buzz of anticipation is already building for our upcoming end-of-term events. While last term focused on the "immense creativity of humanity," this Spring's itinerary is set to challenge and inspire across new disciplines. From the upcoming Culture Day on March 27th to specialised rewards trips and visits to iconic London venues like Wembley Arena, our learners are being given a "cultural passport" to the world.
Whether it’s Year 12s exploring career paths at the Emirates Stadium or Key Stage 3 students engaging with the arts, these journeys remain a vital part of our mission to widen horizons and ensure every learner realises their full potential.
