Fantastic GCSE Results at Harrow High School

It’s been another exciting exam results day at Harrow High as our learners came into school to collect results, share tales of their summer and to celebrate with friends.

Headteacher Mr Paul Gamble said: “We are delighted with all our learners and are so proud of the incredible effort they have put into their studies, not only in Year 11 but over their whole time with us. I would like to thank all of our staff for their incredible efforts both in the classroom and with the wider support they give to our young people. Today is a day to celebrate everything we achieve as a school community. Whilst no government progress figures will be released this year, these results continue to demonstrate our history of excellent progress for all.”

These strong outcomes are seen across all our subjects, with 18% achieving top grades in English and Maths whilst 47% achieved both at 5+ and 63% at 4+. These results are well in line with those of recent years in which Harrow High has repeatedly been ranked in the top 10% of schools across the country.

They come on the back of last weeks fantastic A-Level results in which 61 % of A-Level grades were at A*-B and an amazing 84% at A*-C.

Demand for places in our very successful Sixth Form is exceptionally high and learners from Harrow High or elsewhere who wish to join us for A-level or BTEC study or to sign up for our new Aspire programme are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
