Sixth Form
It is our pleasure to welcome you to Harrow High Sixth Form. Our aim in the school and the Sixth Form is simple: Excellence for All. In 2025, Harrow High Sixth Form learners achieved outstanding exam results which are a testament to our staff and students' relentless commitment to our aim. At A-Level, 61% of grades were awarded at A*-B, and 84% at grades A*-C. This places us in the top 10 % of Sixth Forms nationally. The success is just as impressive for our BTEC students, with 91% of their grades at Distinction* or Distinction placing us in the top 1% of schools in the country for BTEC progress. We are incredibly proud of this achievement.
Harrow High School has a relatively small Sixth Form, which allows class sizes to be small and for students to be known very well by their teachers and tutors, which makes for a supportive and warm atmosphere. All students are taught in specialist modern Sixth Form classrooms in a purpose-built block, by a team of highly-skilled and enthusiastic subject specialists. Specialist Sixth Form tutors and a Sixth Form learning mentor, develop students’ academic and wider skills so that they can make successful applications to the most selective undergraduate courses at top universities such as UCL, Imperial, Warwick, and Queen Mary, where our alumni now study.
In our last Ofsted inspection, (2023), Inspectors commented that “high-quality teaching was seen in a number of Sixth Form lessons.” And that “the progress of sixth-form students is carefully monitored and support is quickly and effectively put in place for anyone who is underachieving and the resulting targeted work with individual students is having a positive impact and results are set to rise further.”
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information. You can also follow us social media, to get a flavour of what life in our outstanding Sixth Form is like.
